Jason York is currently the Manager of Client and Desktop Services at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. He started with a well-run small business in New Jersey while attending college full time, then assimilated during a merger with a large publicly-held company in Illinois; succeeding with building out a global support center for Arthur J. Gallagher. Jason is a certified HDI Corporate Instructor and utilizes his skills to create onboarding, leadership, and management training programs.
Jason is an avid volunteer, serving as a former school board member, President of non-profit serving children with special needs and 15 years as a volunteer firefighter, including EMT and New Jersey State certified fire instructor. Jason lives in the Fox Valley with his wife, four kids, and golden retriever when they aren’t pursuing their love to travel.
VP – Finance
Dian Survance has been supporting end users in the professional arena for over 25 years. Dian began her IT Service career with Waste Management and is currently a Help Desk Coordinator at Advocate Health Care in Oak Brook, IL. Dian is an active member of Chicagoland HDI Board since 2005 and on the ITT Technical Institute Programs Advisory Board. Dian is also ITIL Foundations Certified. She is a repeat speaker at industry-related national conferences including HDI.
VP – Communications
Ben Roohani is currently the Director of Technology Support Services at Joliet Junior College, the nation’s first community college. Ben oversees the operation of Help Desk, Desktop Services and the Print Services Center at the college. Ben also teaches at the community college and having this role enables him to bring a great insight into the students and the faculty technology support. He earned a Ph.D. in Educational Administration & Foundations from Illinois State University and his dissertation interest was in Faculty Technology Development.
Ben lives in the north suburbs of Chicago with his wife and two children. On his free time he volunteers for local AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization), spends time with his children and cooks.
VP – Vendor Relations
Joe Colianne is an IT Account Executive at Medix working with the IT Staffing/Consulting industry for 5+ years. As a native to Chicago, Joe has a passion about being involved with IT networking groups and connecting industry professionals in order to progress forward as a collective group. Recently, Joe has taken on a role to provide “Best in Class” talent specifically to Tech Support and helped develop new cutting edge tools to find and deliver top talent.
Joe lives in Chicago and stays busy with family, friends and a playful Golden Retriever named Maggie-May.

In her free time, McKenzie loves to cook, travel internationally and work out.
Jeff Michaels Regional Account Manager SkillSoft. Jeff works to improve the performance of organizations by improving the performance of their people. Jeff has 10+ years focused on improvement in education and key business LOB’s and IT . HIs High level understanding of business drivers from the Enterprise level to the SMB marketplace make him highly sought after here in Chicago. HIs familiarity with financial metrics and driving return on investment, make him comfortable standing on a manufacturing floor, in a board room, or anything in between. Professional client advocate who understands how to sell internally as well as externally. Team player who enjoys a challenge and remains lighthearted in all circumstances.
Julie Lemke manages the ITG Service Center at Health Care Service Corporation, the largest customer owned health insurer in the United States that includes the Blue Cross Blue Shield plans for Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. She has over 15 years of management experience in IT service and support, the last seven at HCSC overseeing service desk operations for over 20k employees and nearly 14 million members.
Julie lives in the far north suburbs where two teenage daughters keep her and husband Carl very busy. Duties as a Dance, Gymnastics and Guard mom take up much of her time and she loves every minute of it.
Samantha Kraupner is the Senior Manager of the Service Desk at Axciom where she leads a team of nearly 70 first level support associates in the US and Europe. Samantha has been instrumental in developing procedures, processes, standard reporting and client documentation critical to the support of Acxiom clients. She is a certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt, ITIL Expert, HDI Support Center Manager, HDI Support Center Director as well as a Trainer and Trainer of Trainers.
During Samantha’s tenure at Axciom, she has successfully integrated many new clients into Acxiom’s Service Desk and IT Outsourcing Support environment. She has also successfully led internal projects including several telephone system upgrades and implementation and training of new support processes and tools.
In her spare time, Samantha volunteers as a Girl Scout troop leader and enjoys reading, music, art, gardening, cooking and travel.
LaDonna Spragg is a Team Lead for Accenture Dealer Management System, providing application support to Caterpillar dealers globally. She is also the Customer Service Champion and Training Coordinator.
LaDonna has been a member of HDI since 2006, previously serving as VP of Finance and President of the Central Illini local chapter. When the Central Illini and Chicagoland chapters combined, LaDonna served as VP of Communications prior to becoming President in 2014 through 2016.
